Accounts Assistant – Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliation).
- Generate and maintain export invoices in compliance with GST and export regulations.
- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Manage sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Maintain all mandatory statutory records related to GST, exports, accounting, and taxation.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, vendor accounts, and GST ledgers.
- Prepare e-way bills, export documentation, and other compliance-related records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for compliance matters.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and accurate maintenance of financial records.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Support management with MIS reports and financial data as required.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Understanding of GST compliance, return filing, and input tax credit reconciliation.
- Knowledge of export invoicing and export documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet statutory deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, GST, and export documentation.
- Experience handling statutory compliance and financial record maintenance.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
