Job Summary:
We're looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Engineer to handle sales and business development for government-sector clients. The candidate should have experience in industrial product sales and strong coordination skills with government departments such as Maharashtra State Power Generation Company, Western Coalfields Limited, NTPC Limited, and ordnance factories. The role involves client handling, tender participation, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with government departments and PSU clients.
- Promote and sell industrial products to government organizations and institutional customers.
- Regularly visit clients for business development and product promotion activities.
- Handle enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order finalization.
- Coordinate with tendering and internal teams for government tenders and documentation.
- Maintain strong liaison with government officers and decision-makers.
- Follow up for approvals, purchase orders, payments, and customer requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities in government and industrial sectors.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, and market feedback.
Required Skills:
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of government sales processes and industrial product marketing.
- Ability to build professional relationships with government officials and clients.
- Good understanding of tender procedures and commercial documentation.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and business development.
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in government sales or industrial product sales.
Preferred Industry:
- Industrial Products / Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Sales.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
