Job Summary
Presidium School is looking for a passionate, creative, and nurturing Pre-Primary Teacher to create a joyful and engaging learning environment for young learners. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a child-centric approach, and the ability to foster the holistic development of children through activity-based learning in line with NEP and early childhood education practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and learning activities.
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop children's language, literacy, numeracy, motor, cognitive, emotional, and social skills.
- Conduct phonics, storytelling, rhymes, music, art & craft, and experiential learning activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and classroom displays.
- Observe, assess, and maintain records of each child's progress.
- Build positive relationships with parents through PTMs and regular communication.
- Maintain classroom discipline while encouraging creativity and independent learning.
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of every child.
- Participate in school assemblies, events, celebrations, training programs, and curriculum planning.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers to achieve school objectives.
