About the role: The Fleet & Logistics Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring efficient fleet operations, warehouse compliance, logistics cost optimization, and operational efficiency. The role involves coordinating with transporters, warehouse partners, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely, safe, and efficient operations while maintaining high standards of hygiene, temperature control, and operational excellence. Responsibilities: 1. Fleet Operations a. Monitor movement and utilization of company-owned and hired vehicles. b. Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries. c. Track vehicle routes, trip status, and turnaround time. d. Maintain vehicle movement records and operational reports. 2. Fleet Cost & Maintenance a. Track fuel efficiency, mileage, vehicle running expenses, and operating costs. b. Monitor preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, and breakdowns. c. Identify opportunities to optimize fleet performance and reduce operating expenses. 3. Transporter Management a. Coordinate with transporters for trip-based and dedicated vehicle requirements. b. Negotiate freight rates and ensure timely vehicle availability. c. Evaluate transporter performance and maintain vendor relationships. 4. Warehouse Operations a. Monitor warehouse utilization, infrastructure, and maintenance. b. Coordinate with warehouse partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. c. Conduct periodic warehouse inspections and recommend operational improvements. 5. Compliance, Hygiene & Cold Chain a. Ensure warehouse temperature, hygiene, and cold chain standards are maintained. b. Review temperature records and ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety standards. 6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement a. Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for fleet, fuel, warehouse, and transporter performance. b. Analyze operational data and recommend cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. c. Support operational audits and undertake additional responsibilities assigned by management. d. Maintain accurate operational records and documentation related to fleet, transporters, and warehouses. 7. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements related to transportation and warehouse operations. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in fleet, transportation, warehouse, or logistics operations. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards). Working knowledge of Google Sheets; familiarity with Power BI will be an added advantage. Good understanding of fleet management, warehouse operations, and cost analysis. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel locally for warehouse and transporter visits. Exposure to cold chain logistics or temperature-controlled transportation will be preferred. Ability to coordinate with transporters, warehouse partners, and internal stakeholders.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
