About the Role
Nevyati Engineering Consultancy LLP is seeking a hands-on 3D Printer Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, calibration, and performance of our additive manufacturing equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and supporting engineering teams in achieving consistent print quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot FDM/SLA/other 3D printing systems.
- Perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and firmware/software issues.
- Maintain service logs, spare parts inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Support engineers with print setup, material handling, and optimization.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and warranty matters.
- Ensure safe operation and adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Understanding of mechanical assemblies, motion systems, and electronics.
- Basic knowledge of slicing software and printer workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in 3D printer or CNC/automation equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with different printing materials and post-processing.
- Experience in firmware updates and machine modifications.
