Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Writer to develop engaging, high-quality content across digital and print channels. You’ll help shape the voice of our educational brand, support marketing and student engagement, and contribute to our growth in the EdTech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, compelling content for multiple platforms including:
- Websites, landing pages, and blog articles
- Social media posts, captions, and ad copy
- Email campaigns and newsletters
- Video scripts (explainer/promo) and reels
- Brochures, flyers, and promotional material
- Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and academic teams to plan and execute content aligned with campaigns, admissions cycles, and brand goals.
- Research educational trends, competitor content, and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with basic SEO practices.
- Help maintain editorial calendars and meet deadlines across various content projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in content writing, copywriting, or similar role (EdTech/digital marketing preferred).
- Strong command of English; proficiency in Malayalam is an added advantage.
- Creative thinker with excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
- Basic understanding of SEO, digital content formats, and content optimisation.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing for education, student audiences, or online learning platforms.
- Familiarity with content creation tools (CMS, Canva, Google Docs, etc.) and basic analytics.
