We are seeking a skilled React Native (Expo) Mobile App Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have experience building, testing, deploying, and maintaining Android and iOS applications using React Native and the Expo ecosystem. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Implement authentication, push notifications, deep linking, and offline storage.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Publish and manage apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store using Expo EAS.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with backend developers and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Stay updated with the latest React Native, Expo, and mobile development trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in React Native development.
- Strong experience with Expo SDK and Expo EAS Build & Submit.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of React Hooks, Context API, and component lifecycle.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
- Knowledge of React Navigation.
- Experience with AsyncStorage, SecureStore, or SQLite.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience debugging using Flipper, Expo Dev Tools, or similar tools.
- Understanding of responsive UI development across Android and iOS.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics).
- Knowledge of push notifications and background tasks.
- Familiarity with native modules and Expo config plugins.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, maps, camera, location, and biometric authentication.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Experience with App Store and Play Store release processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
