Civil Engineer – Structure and Building - Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer (Structure & Building) to oversee the complete structural design, site execution, and quality control of our building projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all residential and commercial building construction adheres perfectly to structural blueprints, safety regulations, and project timelines. You will bridge the gap between design theory and on-site execution.
- Structural Supervision: Monitor day-to-day on-site structural works including excavation, deep foundations, RCC casting, shuttering, steel reinforcement binding, and masonry.
- Blueprint Analysis: Read, interpret, and cross-verify structural drawings with architectural and MEP designs to eliminate clashes.
- Quality Assurance: Check raw building materials (cement, aggregate, structural steel) and conduct mandatory field tests like concrete cube tests.
- Project Estimation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), track material consumption, and manage wastage.
- Vendor & Billing Management: Coordinate with contractors, verify measurement books, and clear subcontractor bills.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all building elements strictly comply with local building bylaws and National Indian Standards (IS Codes).
- Safety Protocols: Implement safety regulations on-site, coordinate toolbox talks, and enforce PPE use.
- Reporting: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and report project updates to senior project managers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering is a plus).
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of verified site execution or structural design experience in building construction.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and structural software like STAAD.Pro or ETABS is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and concrete mix designs.
- Core Strengths: Strong leadership, clear contractor management skills, and robust problem-solving abilities under tight timelines.
Pay: ₹25,868.37 - ₹55,796.54 per month
