Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure for banking and financial applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, scalability, availability, and performance of cloud-based solutions while adhering to banking industry standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and Azure Active Directory.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Monitor cloud environments and ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Configure and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to support cloud-based deployments.
- Implement cloud security best practices, identity management, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements related to cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and Azure administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
- Experience with Azure Networking, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Backup.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory and security requirements applicable to financial institutions.
