Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations
Maintain day-to-day accounting records (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Process invoices, bills, and expense vouchers
Reconcile daily revenue (room sales, F&B, events, etc.)
2. Revenue & Billing Management
Verify guest bills and ensure accurate posting from POS systems
Coordinate with front office and F&B teams for billing accuracy
Monitor credit transactions and corporate accounts
3. Bank & Cash Handling
Perform bank reconciliations
Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions
Ensure proper handling of daily cash collections
4. Vendor & Payables Management
Maintain vendor records and payment schedules
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Handle vendor queries and reconciliations
5. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
Maintain proper documentation for audits
Assist in internal and external audits
6. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Analyze revenue trends and cost control
7. Coordination
Work closely with departments like Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B
Support management with financial insights and reports
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with hospitality accounting systems (e.g., PMS, POS)
Proficiency in software like Tally, Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
1–3 years of experience (hospitality experience preferred)
Preferred Experience
Experience in hotels, resorts, or restaurant chains
Knowledge of revenue audit and night audit processes
Understanding of inventory and cost control (especially F&B)
Work Environment
Fast-paced hospitality setting
May require working weekends or holidays depending on operations
