Key Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualization: Develop innovative architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed project layouts based on client briefs and project goals.
- 3D Modeling & Visualization: Produce high-quality 3D views, renderings, and presentation drawings to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and clients.
- Drafting & Documentation: Prepare highly accurate architectural plans, elevations, sections, and comprehensive working drawings for seamless on-site execution.
- Coordination & Site Management: Collaborate closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, facade consultants, and external vendors. Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction aligns with design specifications and timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all architectural designs and construction plans comply with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) regulations, General Development Control Regulations (GDCR), and other local building codes.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior architects, draftspersons, and design interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 7 to 12 years of proven professional experience in an architectural firm, preferably with a portfolio showcasing successful projects in the Ahmedabad market.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in architectural drafting and 2D design (AutoCAD).
- Advanced skills in 3D modeling and rendering software, specifically SketchUp and V-Ray.
- Working knowledge or high interest in utilizing Generative AI tools for architectural conceptualization and advanced visualization.
- Familiarity with Revit/BIM methodologies is a strong advantage.
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, material specifications, and vendor management.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design ideas clearly to clients and cross-functional teams.
