Role: Pharmacist
Report to whom: Pharmacy In-charge
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Dispense medicines accurately as per doctor’s prescription
· Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and contraindications
· Maintain proper storage of medicines including cold chain and controlled drugs
· Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers
· Indent, receive, and verify medicines from approved vendors
· Maintain pharmacy registers and documentation as per hospital policy
· Ensure availability of emergency and life-saving drugs
· Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and precautions
· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and wards for medication requirements
· Follow statutory guidelines under Drugs & Cosmetics Act
· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the pharmacy area
· Handle billing entries and coordination with billing department
· Manage returns, near-expiry, and non-moving stock
· Participate in audits and inventory checks
· Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
