Aqua Clean Systems Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in the design and manufacturing of industrial washing machines, industrial cleaning systems, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), and automation solutions for industrial applications.
We are looking for a technically skilled and result-oriented Project Engineer to manage and coordinate projects from order receipt through design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing engineering projects while ensuring timely delivery, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
The candidate will coordinate with Sales, Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, Service, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Understand project requirements, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress from order confirmation to final delivery.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget.
- Identify project delays and take corrective actions.
2. Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering team for GA, detailed drawings, BOM, and technical documentation.
- Review drawings and specifications as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate engineering changes and ensure proper implementation.
- Ensure availability of required technical documents for production and assembly.
3. Production & Manufacturing Coordination
- Coordinate with the Production team for project manufacturing and assembly activities.
- Monitor project-wise production status.
- Resolve technical and production-related issues in coordination with concerned departments.
- Ensure material and components are available as per project requirements.
4. Purchase & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase department regarding project-specific materials and components.
- Follow up on pending materials and critical bought-out items.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical requirements, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
- Highlight material shortages that may affect project timelines.
5. Installation & Commissioning
- Coordinate installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.
- Support the Service team during machine installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Monitor machine performance during trials.
- Coordinate with customers for trials, approvals, and final handover.
6. Customer Coordination
- Act as a coordination point between the company and customer for project-related matters.
- Understand customer requirements and communicate them internally.
- Attend customer meetings and project review discussions when required.
- Provide regular project status updates to customers and management.
- Handle technical queries and coordinate their resolution.
7. Project Documentation
- Maintain project-related documents, drawings, BOMs, schedules, and reports.
- Prepare project progress reports.
- Maintain project trackers and follow-up sheets.
- Prepare and maintain installation, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Ensure proper closure of project documentation after completion.
8. Quality & Safety
- Ensure project activities comply with company quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection and testing.
- Ensure machines are manufactured and tested according to approved specifications.
- Follow safety procedures during installation and commissioning activities.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of project execution and project management.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and BOM.
- Basic understanding of mechanical/industrial machinery.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning.
Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, machine manufacturing, industrial automation, SPM, machinery, or similar engineering industries.
Candidates with experience in industrial washing machines, automation, SPM, machine manufacturing, or capital equipment projects will be preferred.
