Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day social media activities, content creation, research, and engagement across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and managing social media content calendars.
- Create and publish engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Write captions, post copy, and basic social media content.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, formats, and content ideas.
- Assist with Reels, Stories, carousels, and other social media formats.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Track basic social media performance and prepare reports.
- Support social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with the design and content teams to deliver posts on time.
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
- Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics is a plus.
