In this role, you will help protect the quality, safety, and reliability of Hershey products at the Mandideep plant by strengthening food safety, sanitation, microbiology, and Quality Management System practices. You will partner across operations, quality, regulatory, microbiology, and external teams to keep plant processes aligned with Hershey Quality & Food Safety standards from material receiving through storage, processing, and dispatch.

- Lead and manage the Sanitary Designs Standards, Sanitation Programs , Good Manufacturing Practices and Pest Management Program to ensure compliance to Hershey Standard Operating Procedures & Sanitary guidelines.
- Lead, coordinate & develop the Sanitation Desings, standards, systems and procedures for the equipment and infrastructure at the facility.
- Lead food safety risk assessment, programs implementation and conduct comprehensive in-house food safety audits, ensuring process and production run as per the Hershey Quality & Food Safety standards.
- Coordinate and guide to Microbiologist to perform effective lab testing and control, risk management and best in class practices implementations as per the Hershey guidelines.
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery for Hershey & 3P process.
Other Applicable Scope Defining Dimensions:
- Lead food safety culture initiatives and employee engagement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in End-to-end operation includes material receiving, storage, processing and dispatches.
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to adopt best practices in Quality Management System.
Experience & Education:
- Graduate/ Post graduate Degree qualifications in Microbiology, Food Technology or a related discipline are preferred.
- At least 7-8 years of experience in a food / beverages/ Aseptic packaging environment and primarily in Quality & Food Safety domain.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Product testing and analytical skills.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Lead Auditor in Quality & food safety systems will be highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO management systems and have experience in their application in an FMCG environment.
