The candidate will be responsible for managing all store operations at the construction site, including receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of construction materials. The role involves ensuring proper material tracking, stock control, and timely availability of materials required for project execution.
The candidate will coordinate with procurement teams, project engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient material management and avoid project delays.
Oversee daily store operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of construction materials.
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or wastage.
Maintain systematic store organization and inventory management practices.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and material specifications.
Ensure proper material inspection and documentation during receipt.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material quality verification where required.
Maintain accurate inventory records of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages.
Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation of inventory records.
Ensure timely issuance of materials to site engineers and subcontractors as per approved requisitions.
Maintain proper documentation for material issuance and consumption tracking.
Monitor material usage to minimize wastage and losses.
Coordinate with procurement teams for material requirements and purchase planning.
Track pending deliveries and material availability at site.
Provide updates on stock levels and material shortages.
Maintain records of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material inward and outward registers, and stock reports.
Ensure proper documentation for material movements and inventory transactions.

Experience in store management in construction projects
Familiarity with material documentation such as GRN, challans, and inventory registers
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems / ERP
Strong documentation and record management skills
