Band Box Launderers & Cleaners Pvt. Ltd. is one of Kolkata's leading laundry and dry-cleaning companies with multiple stores and operational offices across the city. We are looking for a sincere, detail-oriented, and dependable Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in GST-related accounting, TDS entries, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare vouchers and maintain proper accounting documentation.
- Generate financial reports and MIS as required by management.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks whenever required.
- Visit various Band Box stores and offices within Kolkata to verify records, collect documents, and provide accounting support.
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) or equivalent.
- Basic working knowledge of Tally ERP / TallyPrime.
- Comfortable using accounting software and computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Honest, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Travel Requirement
The role requires travelling within Kolkata to Band Box stores and offices as part of regular duties. Candidates should be willing to travel locally whenever required.
Experience
- Freshers with good accounting knowledge may apply.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience will be preferred.
