Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and qualified General Duty Assistant (GDA) Trainer to deliver practical and theoretical training to aspiring healthcare assistants. In this role, you will equip students with fundamental nursing support skills, patient care techniques, and healthcare protocols required for employment in hospitals, clinics, and care centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Train students on core GDA modules, including vital signs monitoring, patient hygiene, infection control, basic life support (BLS), and medical equipment handling.
- Practical Training: Conduct hands-on lab sessions to demonstrate bed making, patient positioning, mobility assistance, and emergency care procedures.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare, administer, and grade theoretical and practical evaluations to track student progress and clinical competency.
- Soft Skills & Professionalism: Educate trainees on patient communication, bedside manner, medical ethics, and workplace safety protocols.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain daily attendance records, training logs, and student performance reports in alignment with vocational standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Sc in Nursing, GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), or a related allied health degree.
- Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, with at least 1 year of experience in teaching or clinical instruction preferred.
- Certifications: Certification in Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) or Trainer (TOT) accreditation is a strong plus.
- Key Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, patient care skills, effective communication, classroom management, and fluency in regional languages/English.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
