Role Overview
We are looking for a Jewellery Merchandiser to manage product assortment, store-wise allocation, and inventory optimisation across our retail and franchise network. The role focuses on ensuring the right products reach the right stores at the right time while improving inventory health and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan category-wise assortment by store type, region, price band, and product category
- Manage store-wise allocation and replenishment based on sell-through performance
- Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving stock, and stock rotation strategies
- Analyse performance of new collections and recommend scale-up or correction actions
- Coordinate with sales, franchise, warehouse, design, and production teams
- Support data-driven merchandising and inventory decisions
Key KPIs
- Inventory turns and stock health
- Sell-through performance of new launches
- Reduction in ageing and dead stock
- Improved replenishment accuracy
- Reduced franchise stock complaints and discount dependency
Candidate Profile
- 4–10 years experience in jewellery or retail merchandising
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Commercial mindset with structured decision-making ability
- Understanding of regional customer preferences and jewellery retail trends
- Experience working with retail chains or franchise networks preferred
