The candidate should have sound practical knowledge of NABH accreditation standards and implementation, including:

Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Administration / Hospital Management or equivalent.
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA/MBA Healthcare) will be an advantage.
- Certification/training in NABH accreditation or healthcare quality management is preferred.
Experience
- 8– 15 years of relevant experience in hospital administration/operations, depending on the level of the position.
- Practical experience in NABH implementation, accreditation, internal audits, documentation, and quality management.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
- Experience in hospital operations, patient services, statutory compliance, and quality improvement.

- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, housekeeping, security, billing, insurance/TPA, HR, and other departments.
- Ensure smooth patient registration, admission, discharge, billing, and overall patient flow.
- Monitor hospital services to ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Implement and monitor NABH standards, policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate NABH accreditation activities, documentation, audits, assessments, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory requirements, infection-control practices, and patient-safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, review, and update SOPs, policies, protocols, manuals, forms, and registers as required.
- Conduct regular internal audits and monitor departmental compliance with NABH requirements.
- Monitor key hospital quality indicators, patient complaints, incidents, near misses, and patient feedback.
- Organize and coordinate hospital committees such as Quality, Infection Control, Patient Safety, Medication Management, and other required committees.
- Maintain proper documentation and records required for NABH and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor manpower requirements, staff discipline, attendance, training, and performance in coordination with HR.
- Coordinate staff training and awareness programs related to NABH, patient safety, infection prevention, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and hospital policies.
- Monitor housekeeping, biomedical waste management, security, maintenance, laundry, dietary services, and other support services.
- Assist management in budgeting, cost control, resource utilization, procurement, and operational planning.
- Monitor billing, insurance/TPA processes, revenue cycle, and reduction of administrative delays.
- Handle patient grievances professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, disaster management, fire safety, and mock drills.
- Ensure proper maintenance of hospital licenses, statutory records, contracts, and compliance documents.
- Prepare and submit management reports, MIS, quality reports, audit reports, and operational performance reports.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to hospital management.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and hospital information.
- Represent the hospital during inspections, audits, accreditation assessments, and meetings with external agencies when required.
