About Shanti Nursing Home
Shanti Nursing Home-15 Bed (Approved by Delhi Government) is an established healthcare facility in Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, providing comprehensive medical care through OPD and IPD services.
We are looking for an experienced and responsible MBBS Doctor to join our team as a Full-Time General Physician / Medical Officer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of OPD and IPD patients, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring of admitted patients and coordination with specialist consultants.
We are looking for a doctor interested in a stable, long-term association with the nursing home.
Position: MBBS General Physician / Medical Officer
Experience Required
4–6 years of post-MBBS clinical experience
Candidates with experience in a hospital, nursing home or established multispecialty clinical setup will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
MBBS from a reputed and recognized medical college/university.
Registration : Valid registration from DMC is must.
Key Responsibilities
OPD Responsibilities
- Independently assess and manage general medicine OPD patients.
- Take detailed patient history and perform clinical examination.
- Diagnose and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medicines appropriately and maintain proper medical records.
- Identify patients requiring specialist consultation or higher-level care.
- Provide appropriate patient counselling regarding treatment, medication and follow-up.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of patient care.
IPD Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessment of admitted patients.
- Prepare and review admission notes, treatment plans and progress notes.
- Monitor patients' clinical condition and treatment response.
- Review investigation reports and modify treatment as clinically appropriate.
- Conduct regular IPD rounds.
- Coordinate with nursing staff regarding patient treatment and monitoring.
- Manage common medical complications within the doctor's scope of practice.
- Identify deteriorating patients and arrange timely specialist consultation/referral when required.
- Prepare discharge summaries and appropriate follow-up instructions.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
Emergency / On-Call Responsibilities
- Assess and provide initial management for medical emergencies.
- Recognize emergency conditions requiring immediate referral or specialist intervention.
- Coordinate with consultants and emergency services whenever required.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical cases.
Coordination With Specialists
The doctor will work closely with visiting/consultant specialists, including Obstetrics & Gynaecology and other specialties, wherever required.
Candidate Profile

Salary
₹70,000 – ₹100,000 per month - Depend on skill
Salary is negotiable for the right candidate based on experience, clinical competency and previous hospital experience.
