Job Title: Home Sample Collection Executive (Phlebotomist)

Reports To: Branch Manager / Lab Manager
Job Summary
The Home Sample Collection Executive is responsible for visiting patients' homes to collect blood and other diagnostic samples safely, ensuring proper patient identification, sample handling, and timely delivery to the laboratory while maintaining excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients' homes as per assigned schedule.
- Collect blood and other diagnostic samples following standard protocols.
- Verify patient identity and test requisition before sample collection.
- Label, pack, and transport samples safely to the laboratory.
- Maintain cold chain requirements wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation and billing/receipt collection (if applicable).
- Follow infection control and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous service.
- Report any collection issues or sample rejections to the supervisor.
- Maintain daily collection records and submit reports.
Eligibility
- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT (Preferred)
- Certified Phlebotomy candidates may also apply.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in phlebotomy or home sample collection.
- Freshers with good venipuncture skills may be considered.
Skills Required
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of sample collection and transportation protocols.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area.
- Basic smartphone and mobile app usage.
Preferred
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
