Machine Operation: Operate power presses to punch, bend, or shape materials.
Setup: Set up machines with appropriate dies, tools, and materials, including checking die alignment and calibration.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, clean machines, and troubleshoot malfunctions, reporting significant issues.
Production Records: Maintain logs of completed parts and monitor production targets.
- Education: Typically 10th or 12th pass, or [ITI certification] in a relevant trade.
- Experience: Often requires 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience, though, in some cases, freshers are considered.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of die setting, tool changes, and machine controls.
- Skills: Ability to read blueprints, follow verbal instructions, and use measuring instruments.
