We are building a next‑generation Data eXperience Analytics—a unified platform enabling data producers to publish governed data products and allowing consumers to discover, evaluate, and securely consume them.
As the Lead Engineer, you will shape platform architecture, drive engineering excellence, mentor developers, and lead end‑to‑end delivery across Angular/React front end, .NET Core API services, and AWS data components (S3, Glue, Lambda). You will collaborate with product, governance, and data engineering teams to deliver scalable and intuitive self‑service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Leadership
Define the technical strategy and architecture for the Data Experience Marketplace
Lead complex design discussions, set coding standards, and guide engineers through technical challenges
Implement scalable, secure, and modular designs aligned with enterprise architecture
Front-End Leadership (Angular / React)
Architect and guide development of the front‑end marketplace experience using Angular and React
Implement search, metadata views, access workflows, dashboards, and producer onboarding flows
Establish best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
API & Integration Architecture (.NET Core)
Lead the design and development of secure .NET Core REST APIs supporting data discovery, metadata access, governance, and telemetry
Own API Gateway standards, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and service contract versioning
Ensure scalable API performance, security, and maintainability
AWS Data Platform Enablement
Governance, Security & Compliance
Partner with governance and InfoSec teams to establish RBAC/ABAC models
Integrate SSO/OIDC/OAuth, KMS encryption, auditing, and logging
Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and classifications
DevOps, CI/CD & Automation
Lead GitHub branching strategies, PR workflows, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
Implement automated testing, linting, code scanning, and deployment workflows
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with product and platform teams to shape roadmap priorities
Provide guidance on onboarding data products into the marketplace
Influence architecture at the platform and enterprise level

Required Qualifications
15+ years of software engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility
5+ years strong hands-on experience in .NET Core building scalable APIs and services
5+ years experience in Angular and/or React, including TypeScript, UI architecture, and state management
Expert-level proficiency in Angular, and modern UI engineering patterns
Strong experience designing REST APIs, contracts, and secure integration patterns
Deep hands-on expertise in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch)
Proven leadership in guiding teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architecture
Strong GitHub experience (Actions, code scanning, branching workflows).
Solid understanding of enterprise data governance, security controls, and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Databases: Snowflake, Iceberg, PostgreSQL
Experience with metadata/catalog tools (Glue Data Catalog, DataHub, Collibra, Alation)
Infrastructure as Code with CDK or Terraform
Experience with data marketplace / data mesh / data product platforms is a plus
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and telemetry/observability tooling
Understanding of modern data formats (Parquet, Avro) and schema evolution practices
