Job Summary
The Purchase Executive will manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase orders, and timely sourcing of materials and services required for organizational operations. The role focuses on cost-effective purchasing, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth supply management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchase requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements
- Monitor inventory and stock levels
- Ensure quality and compliance with procurement policies
- Conduct vendor follow-ups and field visits if required
Experience
- 1–5 years experience in procurement or purchasing
- Freshers with good communication may also be considered for junior roles
- Approx. ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month depending on experience
