About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead and manage BIM project delivery for our international clients. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of BIM projects, from initial setup to final delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality modeling, multi-disciplinary coordination, and managing the commercial aspects of project acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimation & Proposals: Prepare detailed quotations, resource estimates, and technical proposals based on client-provided Project Information Requirements (PIR) and Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
- Strategic Leadership: Lead BIM execution across multi-disciplinary projects including Architecture, Structure, and MEP.
- Documentation: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee Revit modeling workflows and implement rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure 100% accuracy in deliverables.
- Coordination: Manage clash detection workflows using Navisworks and facilitate resolution between different design disciplines.
- Project Operations: Handle complex project setups, folder hierarchies, and data management within Common Data Environments (CDE).
- Client Management: Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for international clients, participating in technical discussions and progress meetings.
- Team Management: Oversee task allocation, monitor team performance, and ensure all project deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on BIM experience within the Architecture/MEP/Structural engineering industry.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in project estimation, man-hour calculation, and drafting commercial bids for BIM services.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD and other BIM Softwares.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection, and automated interference checking.
- Global Standards: Solid understanding of international BIM standards (specifically ISO 19650 BIM Standards).
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing BIM teams and delivering large-scale projects successfully.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working with international clients and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO-based BIM workflows and information management.
- Previous experience working in global consultancy environment.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
