We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically sound Proposal Manager to drive our estimation, bidding, and proposal development processes. Operating from our Hyderabad (Kondapur) office, you will collaborate closely with our engineering, sales, and leadership teams to translate complex environmental engineering solutions into high-quality, winning commercial and technical proposal. The candidate should have at least 2-4 years’ professional Experience of proposal making, cost estimation & detail engineering of Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Required Skills:
- Proposal End-to-End Ownership: Review incoming RFPs, RFQs, and tenders (Govt, PSU, Industrial, and Commercial) to determine technical and commercial feasibility.
- Technical & Commercial Documentation: Prepare detailed Techno-Commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements, local pollution control board guidelines, and internal engineering baselines.
- Costing & Estimation: Work with design engineers to estimate costs for STPs, ETPs, and wetland systems—factoring in equipment, civil works, piping, and operational expenditures (O&M).
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate internally with environmental engineers and founders, and externally with vendors, consultants, and clients to gather accurate data.
- Bid Management: Manage strict submission timelines, ensuring all legal, financial, and technical document checklists are meticulously compiled.
- Content Standardization: Maintain and update a repository of standard templates, past case studies, and engineering parameters (BOD, COD, TSS removal efficiency records) to streamline future bidding.
· Prepare of design calculations, cost estimation and proposal making of STP/ETP
· Prepare and checking of PFD, P&ID, HFD & water mass balance, Equipment layout, Civil GA.
· Prepare Process Engineering Proposal for Enquiries and Tenders.
· Be capable of conceptualizing design of process flows for varying input characteristics of wastewater/water streams.
· Meeting consultants & customers for technical discussions. Based on feedback, analyze the issues and rework on the requirements.
· To Support Project Execution sites and O&M Sites, when required.
· Continuous updating on market, products & Solutions with respect to Wastewater treatment, ETP, STP.
· Equipment & instrument selection as per the process requirement.
· Attend client kick-off meetings with project team.
· Site survey during preparation of proposals and coordination with design & planning team for understanding requirement.
· Coordinate between the procurement & planning team.
· Tender inquiry planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
· Should also have an experience in O&M and AMC proposal.
· Should have experience in making a costing/quotation for Chemicals and Spares with respect to wastewater and water treatment system.
· Should have a good communication skill to attend technical meetings with customers and suggest for an optimum technical design with cost competitive pricing.
· Should support presales and post sales activity.
· Should be able to support the purchase department in selection of good vendors.
· Should have good relationship with Electromechanical and Civil vendors.
· Should have some fair experience in handling Civil prices/costing too.
Solid understanding of wastewater treatment processes (STP, ETP, ZLD, and ideally nature-based or decentralized systems).
Exceptional written English skills with the ability to articulate technical engineering concepts into clear commercial pitches.
Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Comfort reading basic engineering layouts or CAD drawings is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills and numbers-driven orientation.

Preferred Skills:
MS office: Word, Excel, & Power Point, Electrical AutoCAD Design
Relevant Experience: Experience in STP/ ETP / Waste water treatment etc.will bepreferred; if not, a background in civil engineering is acceptable.
