Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Cashier with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in high-volume restobars, cafes, or entertainment venues. You will manage POS transactions, process multi-tender billing (food, beverages, game packages, cover charges), maintain daily cash registers, and support cash-handling reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Billing & Financial Operations
- Process cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and digital wallet transactions accurately using POS systems (e.g., Petpooja, POSist, Toast).
- Handle combined guest bills spanning F&B menu orders, gaming lane bookings (bowling, darts, axe throwing), and cover/entry packages.
- Verify discount coupons, bank offers, corporate tie-ins, and promotional codes prior to settling bills.
- Manage drawer balance at the start and end of shifts, ensuring 100% accuracy with zero variance between physical cash and POS reports.
2. Front-of-House Guest Support
- Greet guests warmly at entry or checkout counters, handling payment inquiries with speed and professional courtesy.
- Coordinate closely with floor servers, bartenders, and game hosts to resolve split bills, order revisions, or table transfers.
- Issue valid tax invoices/bills and explain charges to guests clearly when asked.
3. Reporting & Auditing
- Print shift-end reports (Z-reports, payment summaries, tender breakdowns) and hand them over to management.
- Identify and escalate any billing discrepancies, systemic glitches, or payment failures immediately to the Shift Manager.
- Assist internal/external auditing teams with daily transaction records and petty cash logs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Cashier or Billing Staff in a busy restaurant, bar, pub, lounge, or gaming center in India.
- Education: Higher Secondary (10+2) required; Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounts or Hospitality Management is a plus.
- POS Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with hospitality POS software and digital payment gateways (Paytm, PhonePe, Pinelabs machines, etc.).
- Mathematics & Accuracy: High speed and accuracy in basic arithmetic, manual cash counting, and tender change calculations.
- Communication: Conversational fluency in English and Hindi; basic knowledge of Kannada is preferred for local guest interactions.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
