Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Receipt & Analysis: Review raw drone data and survey files to understand project scope and deliverables; identify and report any missing inputs to project managers.
2. Orthophoto Processing: Use tools like Drone Deploy to process raw images into geo-referenced aerial maps, ensuring outputs are clean, aligned, and free of inconsistencies.
3. Digitization & Drafting: Perform the primary task of drafting in AutoCAD by tracing features such as roads, boundaries, and structures using validated orthophotos as reference layers.
4. Standardization: Maintain company-standard layer naming, line weights, colors, and symbology across all project maps and layouts.
5. Quality Control: Perform rigorous initial and final quality checks to verify coordinates, image quality, and feature accuracy before client submission.
6. GIS Coordination: Utilize GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, or Global Mapper) for geographic analysis, coordinate system adjustments, or file conversions when specifically required.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate closely with drone pilots, processing teams, and project managers to clarify data gaps and align on project strategies.
8. Documentation: Maintain proper file naming conventions and folder structures for all raw, processed, and final deliverables in the company storage system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, GIS, or a related field.
Proven experience in AutoCAD drafting and digitization (experience with drone data preferred).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Primary tool).
Familiarity with Drone Deploy or similar orthophoto processing software.
Knowledge of GIS software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, or Global Mapper is a plus.
Excellent understanding of coordinate systems, scale, and technical map elements.
Ability to work under pressure and strictly adhere to project deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
