Job Summary
Role SummaryThe SAP Ariba Support Engineer will provide L2/L3 application support for SAP Ariba modules including Buying & Invoicing, Contracts, Sourcing, and Integration . The role involves incident resolution, service request management, monitoring integrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide production support for SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Contracts, and Sourcing modules.Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues within agreed SLAs.Monitor and support SAP Ariba integrations with SAP ERP/S4HANA and third-party systems.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.Support master data, workflow, approval, supplier, and catalog-related issues.Coordinate with business users, SAP functional teams, and integration teams for issue resolution.Support system testing, patch validation, and release activities.Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.Participate in on-call support activities whenever required.Required SkillsHands-on support experience in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Contracts, and Sourcing.Knowledge of SAP Ariba Integration (CIG, web services, middleware, or ERP integrations).Experience in incident management and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.Understanding of procurement and source-to-pay business processes.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
