Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Principal Consultant to support the Environment Management & Engineering division in executing EIA/EMP/Audit and related regulatory projects. The role involves hands-on project implementation, site data collection, preparation of EC applications, compilation of EIA reports, stakeholder coordination, and representation during regulatory hearings and appraisal meetings. The candidate will ensure timely delivery of project reports and compliance submissions while coordinating with clients, regulators and internal teams.

Required Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech (Environmental Engineering) OR M.Sc. in Environment, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Geology (Hydrology), or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Implementation & Delivery
- Execute EIA / EMP / Audit / Visit Report projects and ensure submission as per timelines.
- Monitor project progress, flag risks/delays and implement corrective actions.
2. Field Work & Data Collection
- Conduct site visits for sampling, monitoring, and client coordination.
3. Regulatory Submissions & Reporting
- Prepare Environmental Clearance (EC) applications and compile EIA reports.
- Prepare and submit post-EC reports and Pollution Control Adequacy reports.
4. Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
- Present before EAC / SEAC / SEIAA / MoEFCC for public hearings.
- Attend MOEFCC Expert Appraisal Committee and SEAC meetings as required.
- Coordinate with SPCB / MPCB officers to obtain consents and approvals.
5. Documentation & Presentation
- Prepare technical presentations for hearings and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and client communication records.
Preferred Skills & Tools:
- Strong written & verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Prior exposure to marketing/client coordination is an advantage.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Travel:
Moderate — site visits and industry events may be required.
