Preschool Teacher
Role Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, creative, and caring Preschool Teacher who can provide a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate should be committed to fostering children's overall development while maintaining strong communication with parents and working collaboratively with the school team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Promote children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and document each child's progress and share feedback with parents.
- Develop engaging classroom displays, learning materials, and activity corners.
- Ensure children's safety, hygiene, and well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom routines and encourage positive behaviour through gentle guidance.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and parent engagement activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to achieve educational goals.
- Maintain classroom records, lesson plans, and student portfolios.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, NTT, D.Ed., B.Ed., or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage).
- Passion for working with young children.
- Creativity in planning activities, storytelling, art and craft, music, and movement.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Patience, empathy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Bright Roots Preschool's teaching philosophy.
