BackOffice In charge / Operation Head
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision

Lead and manage the entire Operations Team.

Ensure smooth coordination among sub-teams handling Risk, RMS, Margins, Back Office, and Trade Settlement.

Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and process improvement.
-
Risk & Margin Management
-
Monitor exchange margin utilization, exposure limits, and trading risk parameters.
-
Implement strategies to reduce exchange penalties and interest burden.
-
Ensure real-time checks on client exposure and timely communication on margin requirements.

Back Office Operations
-
Supervise daily trade settlement, fund & securities reconciliation, DP operations, and reporting.
-
Ensure accuracy and timely processing of all back office activities with minimal error rates.

Margin Trading Facility (MTF)
-
Ensure robust process and documentation for MTF.
-
Monitor client-wise exposure and ensure adherence to SEBI/Exchange guidelines.

Regulatory Compliance & Audit
-
Ensure 100% adherence to SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, NSDL norms.
-
Coordinate with regulators for inspections, audits, and routine data submissions.
-
Lead implementation of new operational compliance measures with minimal business disruption.

Stakeholder Coordination
-
Liaison with Exchanges for resolving operational queries or system changes.
-
Work closely with Business Heads to ensure business operations are aligned and efficient.

Provide MIS, dashboards, and insights to management for better decision-making.

Process Improvement & Automation
-
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve turnaround time and client experience.
-
Promote automation and digital tools within operational workflow.
-
Proactive Initiative
-
Stay ahead in implementing regulatory circulars, alerts, and advisories.

Drive proactive risk mitigation and compliance practices across teams.
