Job Title: TGT English Teacher / Trained Graduate Teacher - English
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified TGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to middle school students (Grades 6 to 10), fostering a love for the language, and helping students develop strong communication, reading, and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the school curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Teach English grammar, literature, composition, and verbal communication skills to Grades 6-10.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Assess and evaluate students' performance through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate academic records.
Organize and participate in co-curricular activities, literary clubs, debates, and school events.
Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) to discuss student progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English Hons./Pass) AND a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
Experience: 2–5 years of teaching experience as a TGT English teacher in a reputed school. (Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply).
Skills: Exceptional command over written and spoken English, strong classroom management, and proficiency in using digital teaching tools (smartboards, MS Office).
Certification: CTET / State TET qualification is preferred.
