About the Role
Palasa is looking for a creative, articulate, and detail-oriented Architect – Client Lead & Design Projects to work on premium residential and boutique commercial projects in Bengaluru.
This is a design-focused and client-facing role for an architect who can understand a client's vision, translate it into strong architectural concepts, confidently present design solutions, and work closely with our sales and project execution teams from concept through execution.
We're particularly interested in architects who are comfortable speaking directly with clients, presenting their ideas, and contributing to project conversions, rather than working only on drawings and back-end design.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Design Presentations: Lead initial design discussions, understand client requirements, and confidently present concepts, mood boards, spatial plans, 3D views, and walkthroughs.
- Architectural Planning & Working Drawings: Prepare detailed floor plans, 2D/3D layouts, elevations, working drawings, and design documentation required for project execution.
- Concept Development: Translate client requirements, site conditions, budgets, and aesthetic preferences into practical and visually strong architectural concepts.
- Sales & Project Conversion Support: Work closely with the business development team to develop preliminary concepts and present compelling design solutions that support project conversions.
- Site Visits & Design Alignment: Conduct periodic site visits across Bengaluru to verify that execution is aligned with approved drawings, design intent, and client expectations.
- Consultant Coordination: Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to maintain design consistency throughout the project.
- Client Coordination: Act as a key design point of contact for clients, communicate design changes clearly, and ensure timely follow-up on approvals and requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.Arch from a recognized university or equivalent architectural qualification.
- Experience: 2–5 years of architectural design experience.
- Experience in premium residential, villas, luxury homes, commercial spaces, or similar projects will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of architectural planning, working drawings, detailing, materials, and execution.
- Software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion/V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design, planning, visualization, and completed/project work.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
- Must be comfortable meeting clients, presenting concepts, handling design discussions, and visiting project sites.
- Good command of English is essential; Kannada and/or Hindi will be an advantage.
- Must be based in Bengaluru or able to commute daily to Koramangala.
What We Offer
- ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on experience and capability.
- Uncapped performance incentives linked to successful project conversions.
- Opportunity to work on premium residential and commercial projects.
- Direct client exposure and involvement from concept development through project execution.
- Opportunity to build experience across architecture, client management, project coordination, and business conversion.
Preferred Candidate
We're looking for someone who is not only a good architect on software, but can also sit across the table from a client, understand what they want, communicate ideas confidently, and help turn a design discussion into a successful project.
