Job Summary
Responsible for operating the BOBST NOVACUT Die-Cutting Machine to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards, minimizing wastage, and ensuring safe machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the BOBST NOVACUT die-cutting machine safely and efficiently.
- Set up and adjust dies, stripping tools, and delivery systems according to job requirements.
- Perform die-cutting, creasing, embossing, and debossing operations as per approved samples and specifications.
- Carry out accurate die setting, make-ready, pressure adjustments, and registration settings.
- Change and set embossing/debossing matrices and ensure proper alignment and impression quality.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain required production speed and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for cutting accuracy, embossing/debossing quality, creasing quality, and overall finish.
- Minimize wastage through proper machine settings and process control.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality reports.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Embossing and Debossing Operations.
- Expertise in Die Setting and Make-Ready Procedures.
- Experience in Matrix Changing, Matrix Setting, and Pressure Adjustments.
- Knowledge of stripping and blanking operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine and quality-related issues.
- Understanding of carton board, paperboard, and packaging materials.
- Ability to read job cards, layouts, and production specifications.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / Higher Secondary (Preferred).
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience operating BOBST NOVACUT or similar automatic die-cutting machines in the printing and packaging industry.
- Hands-on experience in embossing, debossing, matrix changing, die setting, and make-ready activities is mandatory.
Pay: ₹25,000.37 - ₹29,000.82 per month
