Job Summary
The QA Manager is responsible for ensuring that all cosmetic products are manufactured, tested, packed, and released in compliance with GMP guidelines, company quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing quality systems, audits, documentation, investigations, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve SOPs, specifications, protocols, and reports.
- Monitor CAPA, change control, deviations, and risk assessments.
Production & Process Quality
- Ensure manufacturing and packaging activities comply with approved procedures.
- Conduct line clearance and in-process quality checks.
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packaging Records (BPR).
- Approve batch release after quality verification.
Documentation Control
- Review and approve quality-related documents.
- Ensure proper record maintenance and document control.
- Monitor data integrity and traceability requirements.
Audits & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal audits.
- Coordinate customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and CAPAs.
Training & Team Management
- Train employees on GMP, hygiene, SOPs, and quality requirements.
- Lead and develop the QA team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and skill development programs.
Vendor & Material Quality
- Approve raw materials, packaging materials, and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance.
- Handle customer complaints and product investigations.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze quality trends and KPIs.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Reduce deviations, rejections, and customer complaints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or personal care manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA leadership role.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Cosmetic GMP (ISO 22716).
- Strong understanding of QMS, CAPA, Change Control, and Audits.
- Excellent documentation and investigation skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
