Job Summary:
The Duty Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the cinema during assigned shifts. This role ensures smooth functioning of all departments, delivers excellent customer service, and maintains operational standards in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cinema operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth coordination between box office, F&B, housekeeping, and technical teams
- Monitor show schedules and ensure timely start and end of movie screenings
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure quick resolution
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Supervise staff deployment, attendance, and discipline on the floor
- Conduct regular audits of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational readiness
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies
- Monitor sales performance and support revenue generation activities
- Handle emergency situations effectively and coordinate with relevant teams
- Prepare daily reports on operations, incidents, and performance
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: Graduation
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience in operations, preferably in cinema, hospitality, retail, or QSR industry
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Customer-focused approach
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA / Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Operations/ Graduation
Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts including late-night shifts
- Weekends and holidays are mandatory working days

Unit Manager / Cinema Manager
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
