Key Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities.
- Support on-page SEO activities including meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, image optimization, and internal linking.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend improvements.
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content, blogs, landing pages, and website copy.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare weekly/monthly SEO performance reports.
- Assist in backlink research and off-page SEO activities to improve domain authority.
- Optimize Google Business Profile listings and support local SEO initiatives.
- Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and digital marketing practices.
- Support the implementation of schema markup, sitemap updates, and website indexing activities.
- Help manage citations and directory submissions for local SEO campaigns.
- Perform basic competitor benchmarking and market research.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
