Role Overview:
As a Software Support Engineer at Quantanite, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing automation solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency. This role involves collaborating closely with development, operations, and client-facing teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. Your work will directly impact the availability and performance of our critical financial platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, resolving software and system-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems across various environments, including Linux, Unix, and Ubuntu servers.
- Develop and implement IT automation scripts using Python to streamline support processes and improve system efficiency.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues, implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and resolve software defects, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in a knowledge base to facilitate efficient knowledge sharing and problem resolution.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Linux, Unix, and Ubuntu environments.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT automation solutions using Python.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
