We are currently looking for a motivated and detailed-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) Executive to join our team at our Pantheerankavu office.
Job Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs, from initial estimation to final account settlement, for both our construction and premium interior projects. This is a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered within budget and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimation & Costing: Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates and material take-offs for construction and high-end interior fit-out projects.
BOQ Preparation: Create and maintain comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Site Measurement: Conduct regular on-site measurements to verify work progress, certify completed work, and track material consumption.
Billing & Coordination: Prepare, review, and process subcontractor bills and vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures against the BOQ, and identify potential cost overruns for proactive mitigation.
Documentation: Maintain meticulously organized and comprehensive records of all quantity surveying documents, contracts, variations, and communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or interior projects.
A Diploma or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is required.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant costing software (AutoCAD and other QS software experience is a plus).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
