Job Summary:
We are looking for an Accountant with good knowledge of accounting, costing and pricing to support our manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts, preparing product and shipment-wise costing, analysing margins and supporting the management in pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle day-to-day accounting and ledger activities.
· Prepare product-wise and shipment-wise cost sheets.
· Calculate raw material, labour, production, packing, freight and other costs.
· Prepare selling prices based on cost and required profit margins.
· Analyse actual vs. estimated costs and identify variations.
· Monitor product profitability and margins.
· Support sales and management teams with quotations and pricing calculations.
· Maintain inventory costing and stock valuation.
· Prepare costing and profitability reports for management.
· Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales and Logistics teams.
· Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and statutory requirements.
Skills Required:
· Strong knowledge of accounting and manufacturing costing.
· Good understanding of product pricing and margin calculation.
· Excellent Excel skills.
· Zoho / accounting software knowledge.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills.
· Good attention to detail and communication skills.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter / CA / CMA or equivalent.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in manufacturing accounting and costing may also be considered.
Experience
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts is preferred.
- Strong experience in manufacturing accounting and product costing is preferred.
- Experience with ERP / accounting software is an advantage.
- Freshers with good knowledge of accounting, manufacturing costing, product costing, GST/TDS, Excel or ERP/accounting software are also welcome to apply.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
