1. Clinical & Ward Duties
· Initial Assessment: Take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and document clinical findings upon admission.
· Daily Rounds: Conduct self-rounds and participate in daily multidisciplinary or consultant ward rounds.
· Treatment Execution: Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and execute consultant treatment directives.
· Procedures: Perform routine procedures like drawing blood samples, arterial blood sampling, and administering injections for diagnostic tests.
2. Emergency Response
· First Responder: Provide urgent medical attention and stabilize patients, staff, or visitors during sudden illnesses or accidents.
· Code Blue: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, initiating advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or basic life support (BLS) protocols.
3. Pre- & Post-Operative Care
· Pre-Op Preparation: Prepare surgical patients by ordering investigations, obtaining informed consent, and readying files for the operation theater.
· Post-Op Monitoring: Attend to post-operative patients on the day of the operation and daily thereafter, coordinating with the nursing team.
4. Documentation & Handover
· Clinical Records: Accurately log progress notes, document care plans, and fill out discharge summaries to ensure legal compliance and continuity of care.
· Shift Handovers: Provide thorough, structured handovers to incoming RMOs regarding acute overnight events, unstable patients, and pending investigations.
5. Administration & Compliance
· Multidisciplinary Liaison: Interpret requests from nursing and consultant staff while coordinating with allied departments (e.g., pharmacy, lab).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
