Job Summary:
The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production and assembly of electric motors, ensuring that manufacturing operations run efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and process management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate motor production and assembly activities, including winding, insulation, rotor/stator assembly, and testing.
- Monitor production schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards, ensuring all motors meet performance and safety specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Strong knowledge of electric motor components, assembly processes, and manufacturing workflows.
- Hands-on experience with motor assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, and team management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and production instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–6 years of experience in electric motor production, assembly, or manufacturing operations.
