Job Description
The Field Executive will support the implementation of the Goatery Livestock Chain Project by mobilizing communities, assisting goat farmers with improved production practices, facilitating market linkages, conducting field monitoring, and ensuring timely reporting to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize and identify project beneficiaries.
- Conduct field visits and monitor project activities.
- Provide technical guidance on scientific goat rearing and animal health.
- Organize training, awareness programmes, and farmer meetings.
- Coordinate with Veterinary Departments, local authorities, SHGs, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate market linkages by connecting farmers with buyers, traders, and producer groups.
- Support aggregation, collective marketing, and value chain development.
- Collect field data, maintain project records, and prepare periodic reports.
- Ensure timely implementation of project activities and achievement of targets.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, or any other relevant discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in livestock, goatery, agriculture, rural development, or livelihood projects. Fresh candidates with relevant educational backgrounds may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of goat farming and livestock management.
- Community mobilization and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Understanding of livestock marketing and value chain development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, and digital reporting tools).
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively in rural and remote areas.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence will be an added advantag
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
