Data Curation for New Traits
Curate scientific evidence for traits planned in the new / upcoming panel. This will include deep-diving into genes, variants, SNPs, biological pathways, and phenotype associations.
Literature Review
Identify and summarize relevant publications, PubMed references, GWAS studies, clinical studies, meta-analyses, and population-level evidence supporting each gene–variant–trait association.
Variant-Level Curation
Document SNP details such as rsID, gene, chromosome position, risk allele, genotype interpretation, effect direction, strength of evidence, and population relevance where available.
Trait Model Development
Support creation of reporting models where multiple SNPs contribute to one trait outcome. This includes defining genotype combinations, scoring logic, weighted models, risk categories, and interpretation rules.
Reporting Backend Content
Create structured backend-ready content for report generation, including trait summaries, genotype-based interpretation lines, recommendation text, risk category explanations, and doctor/client-friendly descriptions.
Evidence Grading
Help classify evidence strength for each trait or SNP as high, moderate, exploratory, or insufficient based on publication quality, reproducibility, population data, and biological relevance.
Data Organization
Maintain curated information in Excel/CSV/Google Sheets or structured templates that can be directly used by product, bioinformatics, and reporting teams.
Cross-Panel Comparison
Compare selected SNPs and traits with existing commercial panels, public databases, and scientific resources to ensure panel relevance and competitiveness.
Quality Check of Content
Review trait descriptions and recommendations for scientific accuracy, clarity, consistency, and suitability for consumer or clinician-facing reports.
Backend Mapping Support
Assist in mapping SNPs, genotypes, risk categories, and recommendation lines into formats that can be integrated into automated report generation workflows.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nagavara, Bengaluru, Karnataka
