Position: Sales Associates - Retail & Business Development
Location: Adyar, Chennai.
Timing: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay: ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month + performance-based incentives.
About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic sales professional who can seamlessly blend retail sales with business development. This role is designed for someone who enjoys engaging customers in the showroom while also building long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Associate - Retail & Business Development, you will:
- Deliver an exceptional in-store experience by understanding customer needs and recommending premium furnishing solutions.
- Promote and sell curtains, blinds, wallpapers, upholstery, mattresses, and other home furnishing products with confidence and expertise.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and project consultants to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular visits to architectural and interior design firms to present Symphony Furnishings' product portfolio and latest collections.
- Identify and follow up on residential and commercial project opportunities, converting leads into long-term business relationships.
- Visit customer sites to take accurate measurements and assess project requirements for seamless execution.
- Recommend suitable products and installation solutions based on site conditions and customer preferences.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to the overall growth of the showroom and business development initiatives.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of products, industry trends, and design solutions to confidently advise customers and professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer interactions, site visits, and project updates.
- Represent Symphony Furnishings with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach in every interaction.
