Position: Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Sales & Marketing
Job Summary
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading the sales and marketing functions of the organization to achieve business growth, revenue targets, and market expansion. The role involves developing strategic sales plans, driving project sales, managing high-performing sales teams, strengthening channel partnerships, and implementing innovative marketing initiatives to maximize brand visibility and customer acquisition.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive sales performance across all residential, commercial, and plotted development projects.
- Monitor sales pipeline, lead conversion, bookings, and revenue generation.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Ensure effective lead management and timely customer follow-up.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly sales review meetings.
- Develop pricing strategies in coordination with management.
- Forecast sales and prepare periodic MIS reports.
Marketing Management
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns (Digital & Offline).
- Coordinate branding activities across all marketing channels.
- Monitor digital marketing performance, campaign ROI, and lead quality.
- Plan promotional events, exhibitions, property launches, and customer engagement programs.
- Build strategic alliances with channel partners, brokers, and corporate clients.
- Strengthen the company's brand positioning in the real estate market.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Sales Managers, Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Executives.
- Set KPIs and performance goals for all team members.
- Conduct regular training on product knowledge, negotiation skills, and sales techniques.
- Monitor employee productivity and implement performance improvement plans.
- Recruit and develop high-performing sales professionals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and investors.
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion markets.
- Build relationships with landowners, investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
- Explore corporate sales and institutional business opportunities.
- Develop referral and channel partner programs.
Financial & Operational Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
- Prepare sales budgets and marketing expenditure plans.
- Optimize marketing spend for maximum return on investment.
- Monitor project inventory movement and sales velocity.
- Ensure compliance with RERA and company policies.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Present sales analysis and business updates to senior management.
- Monitor CRM reports, lead aging, conversion ratios, and sales productivity.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and project status reports.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

Required Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate industry.
- Proven experience in managing large sales teams and handling high-value projects.
