Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer

Job Summary
Konnak Engineering Private Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer to manage quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contractor measurement and billing, project cost control, contract administration, and cost reporting for an industrial EPC project.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs (QTO) from engineering drawings.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
- Verify contractor measurements, RA bills, and final bills.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost forecasts and monthly cost reports.
- Evaluate change orders, variations, and claims.
- Review subcontractor quotations and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Finance teams.
- Monitor material quantities, reconciliation, and wastage.
- Support procurement by verifying BOQs and purchase quantities.
- Ensure contract compliance and proper commercial documentation.
- Prepare project cash flow and earned value reports.
- Maintain cost databases and project records.
- Utilize ERP systems (Zoho ERP, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) for cost tracking, material management, procurement coordination, and reporting.
- Prepare management reports and project performance dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost control for industrial EPC projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Renewable Energy, or Process Plants is preferred.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹60,000–₹75,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
