MIG Welder
Experience: Fresher to Experienced
Qualification:
- ITI (Welder) preferred
- Candidates with practical MIG welding skills are also eligible
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on MS, SS, and fabricated metal components.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate MIG welding machines safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper weld quality as per specifications and quality standards.
- Clean, grind, and finish welded joints when required.
- Inspect welds for defects and carry out necessary corrections.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and QC personnel during fabrication.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of MIG welding processes and equipment.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, steel rule, and vernier caliper.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and PPE.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fabrication of industrial equipment, structures, or pressure parts.
- Knowledge of welding parameters and different material thicknesses.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Salary: As per qualification, skills, and experience.
